Piedras en el
Estómago
I explore how guilt—an abstract and intangible emotion—can acquire density, form, and permanence. Through the metaphor of geological sedimentation, I investigate how emotions are deposited in the body until they become matter. Piedras en el Estómago portrays the accumulation and solidification of guilt across generations and cultures. Just as time compresses grains of sand into stone, the images and sound reflect the slow but relentless process by which something fleeting solidifies into an immovable force.
