Desvíos explores the nature of free will and the influence of the subconscious on decision-making. Through three variations of the same journey through a forest, each determined by supposedly arbitrary decisions, the illusion of control is called into question. The projections are distributed across fragmented panels, and the visual interruptions that appear periodically function as breaks in continuity and reflect how external forces and unconscious impulses can divert the course of a decision. Desvíos is both a study and a metaphor for any journey, on any scale, and poses a fundamental question: where is the boundary between the conscious and the subconscious?
